• Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL) is the flagship company of the Group and an acknowledged leader in construction of river valley and hydropower projects. The company has been assigned "CR 1" grade by ICRA Ltd. indicating very strong contract execution capacity with best prospectus of timely completion of projects without costing overruns etc. The company has the unique distinction of simultaneously executing 13 hydro-power projects over various states in India and Bhutan to generate 10,290 MW of power.
• Jaypee Group has 6790 MW hydropower/infrastructure projects under execution across various states of India. The group has recently commissioned 3500 MW capacity hydro projects in Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Uttaranchal.• The company has a cement production capacity of over 7 million tonnes per annum in and around Madhya Pradesh and is setting up a large integrated cement plant of 3 million tonnes capacity in Himachal Pradesh.
• The Taj Express Project of the Group is undertaking construction of a 160 km road between Noida and Agra including the development of land along with the six lane Express Way.
• The Group's hydro-power companies: Jaiprakash Hydro-Power Ltd., has set up India's largest hydro-electric project in the private sector – 300 MW Baspa-II in Himachal Pradesh and another company, Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd., has set up - 400 MW Vishnuprayag in Uttranchal on a Build Own & Operate (BOO) basis. Jaypee Karcham Hydro Corporation Ltd., is another hydropower generating company which is implementing the 1000 MW Karcham Wangtoo hydro-electric project in Himachal Pradesh.
